Macleans was founded in 2024 by Lindsay Maclean. Lindsay is an accredited Lifetime Lawyer and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Before establishing her practice, Lindsay was a partner and Head of Personal Law at Gibson Kerr Solicitors in Edinburgh. With over 15 years of experience practising all areas of personal law, Lindsay has assisted hundreds of clients in establishing legal provisions for their future and planning for their families.
Lindsay specialises in personal law matters, with expertise in wills, powers of attorney, issues of incapacity, and creating and managing trusts. She also excels in managing executry estates and devising effective plans for inheritance tax and capital gains tax.
